Privacy Policy

Effective June 21, 2026 · PIA Industries (“PIAI,” “we,” “us”)

PIA Industries operates property-intelligence and municipal assessment tools — GIS map viewers and the Quattro CAMA platform — for Maine towns and their authorized users. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

2. Public-record data

Property assessment, parcel, ownership, and tax records shown in our tools are public records maintained by Maine municipalities under state law. That information is provided by the towns and reflects official public records; it is not personal data we collect about you.

3. How we use information

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only: with the town that administers your account; with service providers that help us operate the platform (under confidentiality obligations); and when required by law. Each town’s assessment data is logically separated and accessible to that town’s authorized users.

5. Data retention

We keep account and activity information for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the platform, meet legal and recordkeeping obligations (including municipal assessment records, which towns are required to retain), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account data subject to those obligations.

6. Security

We protect information with measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, optional multi-factor authentication, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

7. Your choices and rights

To exercise these, contact us (below) or your town administrator.

8. Children

The platform is intended for municipal staff and authorized professional users and is not directed to children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we will revise the “Effective” date above and, for material changes, provide notice through the platform.
